Les Gens Ordinaire (Ordinary People).
Client: Gazaki Bar, Athens.
The illustration was printed on canvases
(total width 8.5 metres) for the main room
of the venue. It was then "remixed" and
converted to murals for the other rooms
of the venue. 2009.

Update
(Novum magazine, article about the
PoorDesigners, the office where I
designed this project):
The Gazaki Bar is the in-location in the
fashionable district of Gazi, once home
to a former Athens gas works. On the
walls, there are figurative XXL illustra-
tions in the style of a trompe l’œil,
characters somewhere between
nostalgia and pop.

With the successful launch of the
Gazaki Bar, they (the PoorDesigners)
have set themselves a new, ambitious
challenge for the future: to see their
image-ideas take shape in inspiring
environments throughout the world.
Their suitcases are already packed
and ready to go.
